The World Food Program Internship provides a wealth of internship opportunities for enthusiastic and qualified undergraduates and recent graduates from around the globe.

Selected candidates will participate in a paid training program, receiving a monthly stipend of $1000. This generous stipend is available to successful applicants hailing from all corners of the world.

Internship Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the World Food Internship Programme, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Enrollment or recent graduation: You should currently be enrolled in a recognized university or have graduated within the last six months.
  1. Academic progress: Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate studies is necessary.
  2. Personal attributes: We seek individuals who are motivated, team players, and adaptable to new challenges.

  4. Humanitarian interest: Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in learning and a strong desire to take their first step into the humanitarian sector.

Internship Duration and Compensation

Typically, internships at WFP span from two to eight months, allowing interns to gain valuable experience within the organization. Throughout the internship period, WFP provides a stipend tailored to the duty station where the intern is based. The amount of the stipend varies, with the maximum set at US$1000 per month.

Additionally, WFP recognizes the importance of supporting candidates from developing countries who are pursuing their studies in their home countries. As a gesture of assistance, WFP offers to reimburse the travel ticket expenses for these candidates, depending on the duty station where the internship is assigned. This initiative aims to promote diversity and inclusivity while providing valuable learning opportunities to those who may face financial constraints.
