Katsina State Government has donated thirty four sets of Computers to National Identity Management to facilitate National Identity Card Registration in the State.
The Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs Alhaji Ya’u Umar Gwajo-Gwajo presented the Computers to the North-West Deputy Director of the Commission Alhaji Isa Gusau at the Ministry.
The Local Governments Commissioner Alhaji Ya’u Umar Gwajo-Gwajo said the Computers were provided to enable the State of office of National Identity Management Commission to ensure full coverage of NIN Registration of people across the State.
Alhaji Ya’u Umar Gwajo-Gwajo noted that the gesture was meant to facilitate the registration especially in the Local Government and reduce the congestion of people at the registration Centres.
The Computers are meant for the functional registration Centres at various local Governments in the State.
