Breaking: Several shops at Funtua General Hospital mini market on fire
Terrible fire outbreak destroy shops in Funtua
A late night fire outbreak is currently ravaging shops and business stand with goods worth millions of Naira in shops located in front of General Hospital Funtua along Unguwan Makera residential area.
An eyewitness who spoke to Katsina Post said that the fire incident started around 9pm on Wednesday night and it is currently ravaging as at the time of filing this report.
Efforts are currently being taken by some good Samaritans and the officers of the Federal Fire Services to quench the fire.
Owners of shops yet to be affected by the fire are also removing their valuables.
However, Katsina Post can not independently ascertain the level of damage the fire outbreak caused and the State Emergency Management Agency is yet to issue statement to that regard either.
Katsina Post recall that similar incident happened at the mini market in November 2018.
